You’re not broken; you’re simply wired differently and living in a world not designed for you. Learning to love, accept, and understand yourself is an act of powerful transformation.
I’ve been where you are, and now I’m here for you.
It’s Hard to Love Yourself
When You Feel Broken
My Story
Teaching high school briefly in Canada's far north, with its darkness, isolation, and a community deeply impacted by trauma, almost broke me. The burnout was relentless. It was in this place of desperation that I began searching for answers. Thanks to brave people on social media who have told their stories of discovering their autism later in life, I found my people. I found an answer at the age of 40. I am autistic and ADHD (AuDHD).
This discovery changed my life in ways I’m still processing. I had spent so many years struggling to fit in, feeling too sensitive and overwhelmed by noise and crowds, and working myself to the point of collapse and burnout. My passions were always so intense and different from other people that I constantly felt I was “too much.”
Learning about my autism and ADHD has helped me meet my challenges and needs from a place of grace and compassion.
What I Believe
-

Compassion and curiosity always take us farther than criticism.
-

You are not too much. You are not broken. You do not need to be fixed.
-

You are allowed to take up space and be seen and heard without judgment.
-

Understanding your unique wiring is the doorway to compassion.
Cheryl created an atmosphere of comfort and non-judgment, making it so easy to relax into the session. She is highly intuitive and knows how to ask the hard, thought-provoking questions that encourage deep reflection. I left our session feeling more centered and grounded. — L.F., Canada
